Parents’ Place Classrooms

Learn more about our classrooms, daily curriculum, and schedule below.

The Baby Room

In the Baby room, the primary focus is helping your child to adapt to time away from their caregivers in a gentle way.  Your child will have time to practice sharing, taking turns, and using their words while they play, sing, dance, and do crafts.

The Toddler Room

In the Toddler room, the primary focus is introducing your child to a school-type environment away from their caregivers.  Your child will have time to practice their socialization skills, fine and gross motor skills by playing with their classmates during free play, as well as planned activities.  They will also be introduced to preK building blocks such as numbers, letters, colors, shapes, name recognition and feelings.

The Preschool Room

In the Preschool room, your child will continue to acclimate to a school environment in a gentle way.  They will practice doing activities as a group, such as circle time, arts and crafts and story time.  They will continue to hone the early socialization skills and preK fundamentals that they learned the previous year, in addition to some more advanced concepts like weather, seasons, and the calendar.

The Kindergarten Readiness Room

In the Kindergarten Readiness room, the goal is to provide your child with all the necessary skills and knowledge they will need to flourish in kindergarten in a part-time, non-drop off manner.  This allows your child to practice their abc’s, 123’s and independence in the morning, while still being able to spend the afternoons together with their family.
